Apple Blossom Pet Clinic believes that the first step in achieving a long, healthy life with your pet is through semi-annual or annual checkups, diet, exercise and open communication.
During your pet's visit (also called a preventative care exam or annual checkup) you will speak to a member of our team who will gather his/her medical history, talk through options for flea, tick and heartworm preventatives, as well as discuss which vaccines would be right for your pet's lifestyle.
Afterwards, Dr.Cheryl will give your pet a thorough exam and assess them from head to tail. She will listen to your pets heart and lungs, look at his/her teeth, eyes, and ears as well as his/her skin coat. Dr.Cheryl will discuss her findings and answer any questions you may have regarding your pet and his/her health.
Remember: Pets age faster than we do, so missing even one annual checkup can be like us not visiting a doctor for over five years!
