Having your pet live a long,
|
Apple Blossom Pet Clinic believes that the first step in achieving a long, healthy life with your pet is through semi-annual or annual checkups, diet, exercise and open communication.
During your pet's visit (also called a preventative care exam or annual checkup) you will speak to a veterinary technician or assistant who will gather their medical history and help to answer any questions you may have. They will discuss options for flea, tick and heartworm preventatives, and discuss which vaccines would be right for your pet's lifestyle. After a history is obtained, Dr. Cheryl will give your pet a thorough exam and assess them from head to tail. She will listen to their heart and lungs, look at their teeth, eyes, and ears as well as skin coat and then discuss her findings and answer any questions you may have regarding your pets health.
Remember: Pets age faster than we do, so missing even one annual checkup can be like us not visiting a doctor for over five years!
Annual visits to your vet is a great way to help your pet live a healthy life, but your pet's health starts at home. Apple Blossom Pet Clinic works with you to make sure that their needs are met at home as well, from eating a healthy diet to regular exercise.
It’s important to talk to us about what you can do to keep your best friend happy and healthy. Remember, if you ever have a specific question or concern about your pet’s health, call or email us, we are always happy to help!

There are many reasons why blood work might be necessary for your pet. Blood work can provide a picture of your pet's health and give your veterinarian valuable insight that you would not otherwise know. It can also frequently detect an illness with your pet before they start showing any external signs.

There are many different types of surgical procedures that are performed here at Apple Blossom Pet Clinic. While we routinely perform spays, neuters, and dental procedures we do not consider any anesthetic procedure to be routine.
Our team prides itself in the care and precautions we take to ensure your pet's safety and health prior to, during, and after their anesthetic procedure. |
Oral healthcare in your pet is very important to their overall health. Dental Disease is the number one untreated disease in pets. Without treatment, periodontal disease can lead to microscopic changes in their heart, liver and kidneys and could result in serious health issues.
If your pet already has any signs of dental disease or you have concerns about their dental health, give us a call to see if a dental procedure is the next step for your pet. |
Medical imaging is an important diagnostic tool. It has many purposes, with the ability to help diagnose illnesses from bone fractures to pneumonia and cancerous tumors.
Here at Apple Blossom Pet Clinic we utilize Digital Radiography, which ensures better quality images and rapid results for you and your pet. |
A microchip ID is a small transmitter about the size of a grain of rice. When a scanner passes over it, a signal is emitted indicating the unique identification number of the chip.
This tiny but sturdy little implant can give you the best chance to reunite you with your lost pet, getting them back to the comfort of their home. |
