Bird, Security, Reception
Bird is a turquoise cheeked Amazon parrot. She came with the name “Bird” when she was adopted at approximately 20 years of age. Bird works in reception with Maryam and tends to make her presence known. She has a large crack on one side of her lower beak due to an unknown trauma in her past and eating can be a challenge. She is a bit thin but full of personality. Her favorite foods are mac and cheese and chips. Be sure to say hi to Bird and she will likely have something to say back!

Baby Gene also oversees patient care and recovery. The flight from Iron River to her home in Eagle River is short for a homer but Baby Gene prefers to ride in the vehicle where she is safe from predators and the elements.

Pilot, In Remembrance
Customer Relations, Treat Quality Control, Delivery Signee You may have seen our dog, Pilot, or Pi Pi, around the clinic. She was a mature gal at 16 years of age and was a seasoned veterinary clinic employee. Her primary duties were treat and food quality control as well as exam room clean-up of any crumbs a patient may have left behind. Her favorite time of day was accepting deliveries and was especially fond of the couriers who came with snacks. Pilot occasionally provided company while clients waited for their pets and did not hesitate to back into you for some butt scratches. We love you. You will be forever missed.
